YBhg Dato’ Sr Abdull Manaf Hashim was born in 1955 in
Kuala Kurau, Perak
He graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in
1978 with a Bachelor in Quantity Surveying.
In 1978 he started off as a Project QS in Jabatan Kerja
Raya, Malaysia
headquarters. In 1981, he was promoted
as the State QS in JKR Pulau Pinang and then transferred to Terengganu with the
same post.
In 1995 he moved back to JKR HQ as the Senior QS in
Civil Engineering Section of QS Division.
In 2000, he became the Director of QS in Jabatan Parit & Saliran, Malaysia. He rejoined JKR HQ in 2004 and he is
currently the Senior Director of Quantity Surveying and Contract Division in
JKR HQ.
He has served as the President of the Board of
Quantity Surveyors Malaysia since 2007, having served 2 terms for the session
2007/2009 and 2009/2011 & his current term as President of BQSM is for the
session 2011/2013.
He was the Deputy President of Royal Institution of
Surveyors Malaysia for the session 2011/2012.
